UBLI, a village and harbour in the Velo Jezero cove on the southern coast of the island of Lastovo, 10 km southwest of the town of Lastovo. Chief occupations are farming, wine production, olive growing, fishing and tourism. Ubli lies on the regional road. Ferry port; connections with Vela Luka and Split.

Situated where the sea, the sky and the land equally attract the visitors, and the intact nature and perfect peace drawn into isolation, Ubli represents a heaven for boaters and those who prefer a quiet holiday. Domestic cuisine, especially the seafood, water sports and fishing opportunities offer recreation in the tranquillity of the isolated island (lat. solitudo: solitude).

In the Velo Jezero cove the foundations of an early Christian basilica from the 5th and the 6th centuries, with sarcophagi, have been excavated; ruins of farm houses dating from the same period are next to the basilica.
