Situated where the sea, the sky and the land equally attract the
visitors, and the intact nature and perfect peace drawn into
isolation, Ubli represents a heaven for boaters and those who
prefer a quiet holiday. Domestic cuisine, especially the
seafood, water sports and fishing opportunities offer recreation
in the tranquillity of the isolated island (lat. solitudo:
solitude). |

In the
Velo Jezero cove the foundations of an early Christian basilica
from the 5th and the 6th centuries, with sarcophagi, have been
excavated; ruins of farm houses dating from the same period are
next to the basilica. |
