MATULJI, a town in the region of Kastav, 13 km north-west of
Rijeka. Matulji is situated in the contact zone between Kvarner
and the mountain hinterland, only 2 km far from Opatija. Apart
from private accommodation and the well-known catering offer,
climbing to the slopes of Mt. Ucka and Mt. Lisina, sightseeing
of the picturesque towns of Kastav and Veprinac, swimming in
