OMISALJ, a town and port in the north-western part of the island
of Krk.
Chief occupations
are farming, fishing, chemicals and tourism. A tanker terminal
is located in the Omisalj Bay. Lies on the local road which is
connected with the regional road running from the Bridge of Krk
to Baska. - Airport "Rijeka" is situated near Omisalj.
