VINISCE, a village and small harbour 12 km southwest of Trogir; population 765. Chief occupations are farming, fishing and tourism. The coastal strip near the village provides opportunities for underwater fishing, and is distinguished by attractive inlets with sandy and pebble beaches (Vinisce, Voluja, Ricevo Velo, Stari Trogir, Sicenica).
